President's Message

അനിൽ ശ്രീനിവാസൻ

പ്രിയരേ,

മലയാളസാഹിത്യത്തിന്റെ നാൾവഴികൾ പരിശോധിച്ചാൽ വായനയും എഴുത്തും പ്രസാധനവും ഏതു തരത്തിലുമുള്ള ജനാധിപത്യവൽക്കരണത്തിന് എതിരായിരുന്നു എന്ന് കാണാം. എന്നാൽ ഇന്ന് ഈ മൂന്നു രംഗങ്ങളും ജനാധിപത്യവൽക്കരത്തിന്റെ പാതയിലാണ്. ഇത് വായനക്കാരെയും എഴുത്തുകാരെയും പ്രസാധകരെയും സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഏറ്റവും അനുകൂലമായ സാഹചര്യമാണ്. അതിനു പ്രധാന കാരണങ്ങൾ 90-കളുടെ അവസാനമുണ്ടായ സാങ്കേതിക മുന്നേറ്റങ്ങൾ (internet ,www, etc.), ആഗോളീകരണം , നവമാധ്യമങ്ങളുടെ വളർച്ച എന്നിവയാനിന്നു കാണാം . ഇനിയുള്ള സാഹിത്യം കുടിയേറ്റ സാഹിത്യമായിരിക്കും എന്ന് നോബൽ പുരസ്‌കാര ജേതാവ് അബ്ദുൽറസാക് ഗുർണ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടത് ഇവിടെ ഓർക്കുന്നു .

ഈ അനുകൂല കാലാവസ്ഥയിൽ ലാന പോലുള്ള സംഘടനകൾക്ക് പ്രസക്തിയേറുന്നു. എന്നാൽ അതിന്റെ വിജയകരമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രിയ അംഗങ്ങളുടെ സഹകരണം അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്.

തുടർന്നുള്ള എല്ലാ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കും കൂടെയുണ്ടാവും എന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ
